Looking for dog-friendly restaurants in Bristol? Harbour House welcomes four-legged guests at our restaurant, bar and terrace on the Floating Harbour. Take your dog for a stroll along the water, then settle in for fresh seafood, a proper Sunday roast or a cocktail by the harbour. We're open every day from midday.
Walk, Then Wine and Dine
Harbourside is one of the best places in the city to walk a dog. The quayside paths loop past boats, bridges and historic sheds. Our spot on The Grove makes a natural stop along the way. Come in for a long lunch, or just a quick drink at the bar while your dog rests.
Terrace Days With Your Dog
On sunny days, our waterfront terrace is the place to be. There's plenty of space for dogs to stretch out while you watch the boats go by with a glass of Britz or one of our cocktails. We can provide water bowls for thirsty pooches. We don't mind if you want to share a bowl of chips with them too (though they're good enough that you won't want to). Just make sure to lick off any salt first.
Sunday Roast For The Whole Family
We know dogs are part of the family and that Sunday lunch is the most important family meal of the week. So feel free to bring them to our Sunday roast, served weekly from midday till 8 pm. Please book in advance and let us know if your dog is coming, so we can seat you somewhere with extra space.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome throughout Harbour House, including the restaurant, bar, and terrace. Please let us know when you book if you’re bringing your dog so that we can find the best spot for you.
Can I bring my dog inside or only on the terrace?
Dogs are welcome both inside and outside, so you don’t have to worry about the weather. Please keep your dog on a lead and off the furniture so everyone can enjoy their visit.
Can I bring my dog to Sunday lunch?
Your dog can join you for Sunday roast, served from midday to 8 p.m. Sundays are often busy, so please book ahead and mention your dog when you reserve.
Where can I walk my dog near Harbour House?
The harbourside has plenty of great walks on it. Waterfront paths run from Wapping Wharf to Castle Park. We’re located at The Grove (BS1 4RB), right along this route, so you can visit us before, after or midway through your walk if you need a break.
Do you provide water bowls for dogs?
We provide fresh water bowls for dogs. Just ask a member of staff when you arrive.
Can I bring my dog to a private event?
It depends on the event. If you’re organising an event, let us know when you’re booking that dogs might be attending and we’ll discuss any accommodations that need sorting. If you’re attending an event here, contact the event organiser or us to get the information you need.
